Renowned for its championship course, meticulously designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones Sr, Real Club Valderrama has been the venue for numerous prestigious tournaments, including the Ryder Cup in 1997.
The Real Club Valderrama has also hosted the Volvo Masters – the European Tour’s season finale – a remarkable 16 times between 1988 and 2008, as well as the inaugural World Golf Championships – American Express Championship in 1999 and 2000 and the Andalucía Valderrama Masters, a key event on the European Tour, from 2010-2011 and 2017-2022.
Today, Valderrama continues to play a pivotal role in showcasing golf’s elite, entering into yet another new and exciting chapter by welcoming the LIV Golf League in the first annual LIV Golf Andalucía tournament, a now anticipated stop for the league and fans alike, featuring some of the best players in the sport from around the world.
