A New era for Valderrama

In May 2011 the Visconde de Pereira Machado was elected President of the Club and Valderrama since then has gone through a complete renovation.

The golf course was completely renovated and upgraded, including a new irrigation system, restoration and rebuilding of all the greens, tees and bunkers and a new driving range and short game practice area. In 2015 the Club obtained Royal Status from his Majesty the King Juan Carlos I and in 2017 the members of the Club were able to purchase golf course and facilities after many years of freehold agreement.
